In general, we lend to banks operating in European Union countries regardless of their legal structure or the associations they are affiliated to. Our loans can be used for agriculture-related projects of all kinds, as well as for providing finance in rural areas, for example infrastructure. The scope of our lending extends from agriculture, forestry, viticulture, horticulture and fisheries to manufacturers of agricultural supplies and commercial and service enterprises with close links to agriculture and forestry. In addition to financing businesses involved in the food industry, food as a craft and the food trade, we also finance other businesses and institutions associated with agriculture and the food industry. We offer loans to local authorities and other public bodies in rural areas.
